This was stated by the technical Deputy Director General of the Centre of development and competitive Industrial (ProIndustria), Faust Araújo, who petitioned the Congress placed on its agenda and declare "extremely urgent" the knowledge and approval of the Bill that creates the Dominican system for quality (Sidocal).
Araújo said that the adoption of the initiative in the legislative chambers will constitute a true revolution of institutional security of the quality of goods and services, since it envisages the creation of the necessary bodies to comply with efficiency and security with this demanding task.
To assess the importance of the draft submitted to Congress by the Executive and General management-driven power of u000aStandards and quality system (Digenor), the National Council of competitiveness (CNC), ProIndustria and part of the country industrial leadership, explained that the aforementioned piece, "which is virtually unknown by the society for their functional logic, is matched by its importance to any one of the factors which, according to modern approaches, define the competitiveness of a nation".
