RD$1 million robbery in La Estancia

Robbers got away with RD$1 million when they attacked and robbed a Cuban American businessman in his home in La Estancia in Puerto Plata
Three masked men broke into the home of 75 year old Enrique Pascual and tied and gagged him and his wife, Marina.
The assailants took a safe from inside Pascual's Jeep which contained cash and high value watches, including a diamond studded Rolex. They escaped in a white Toyota.
Enrique Pascual is the brother in law of Maj. Gen. Antonio Imbert Barrera.
