The group, calling itself Movimiento de Terrenas Unida, through a communication addressed to the Head of State, expressed that it had become almost impossible to obtain building permits from the Ministry of Environment to start works for tourism development. They claim this is an obstacle to foreign investment in this area, so they have called on President Fernandez to intervene.
"The thrust of this correspondence is to let you know that we find it almost impossible to obtain building permits, especially from the Ministry of Environment, causing that the stoppage of all works in progress," says the communication.
The letter to the president, is signed by representatives of the "United Today for a Better Tomorrow" association, among them Cao Seco Manantial de Vida, Cao Seco el Atravesado, Sendero de Amor, Abra Grande el Manantial, La Granja Unida, El Almendro, Barrio El Cacao, El Jamito, Fraternidad Vecinal, Trabajadores de la Construccin, Inversionistas Extranjeros and the Club de Madres de Come Pan.
"We understand the procedure for obtaining permits, but this does not excuse such a long delay, making investors impatient and destroying any hope of value to a town that has all the desire to grow in every way," explains the letter.
