The head of the national police, major general José Armando Polanco Gómez, yesterday assured the preservation of the life of the former Lieutenant Fernando de los Santos (the rope), but warned that if it challenges the authority at the time of his arrest will be used "all the force necessary to subdue him".

Polanco Gómez declared that still is investigating the whereabouts of the former lieutenant and said it is unknown if it is in the country or overseas.

"We guarantee to him, and any citizen is being chased by the police for criminal acts of that if it is given in the institution, or through a church or through other bodies, guarantee you life", said the police chief. But if a person has challenged the authority, if at the time of arrest a challenge using firearms or other weapons, is we will not allow, we will use the force necessary to subdue him, u000areiterated Polanco Gómez.
