Retired police officer commits suicide by shooting in the head

A first lieutenant retired national police committed suicide to shoot to the head, a fact occurred at his residence, located in the spot La Sabaneta, of San Francisco de Macorís.
The police reported that Carlos Modesto Jesus Antigua, 42, died while receiving medical care in the in the Centre of medical specialities for the northeast (INEMED).
The fact occurred within hours of the morning yesterday in the house number 117, on the main street of the referred place, section Génimo.
The official used the pistol brand Taurus, CAL. 9 Mm., no. TZ198656, owned by the National Park, and assigned to the deceased as a retired officer, to shoot, for reasons that are investigated.
