Rosario called the House of JCE for deciding deadlock in computer center

The Chairman of the Central Electoral Board (JCE), Roberto Rosario, convened yesterday to the House of the institution for next Wednesday, to know the proposal for the creation of a management of Informatics, which could be solved the conflict created in the computer center following the resignation of its administrator general, Miguel Ángel García.

Meeting will be held at 4: 00 in the afternoon, according to the call, which is signed by the President of the JCE, Roberto Rosario, and the general Secretary, Ramon Hilario Espiñeira.

The call of the House occurs when two members of the JCE, Cesar Felix and Rosario Graciano, requested the President of the institution to schedule a meeting to decide on the management of computer science.

The internal rules of the JCE establishes that the President of the entity is obliged to convene Parliament at the request of two or more of its members.

Application u000acall to the House was made by members of the PVE in the absence of consensus of the two main political parties, which were meeting in the Pontifical Catholic University teacher Y Maestra (PUCMM), mediated by Monsignor Agripino Núñez Collado. Party of Dominican Liberation (PLD) and Revolucionario Dominicano (PRD) have not been agreed to settle the dispute around the center of computation of the PVE.

The candidate of the PRD, Hipólito Mejía, insists on the resignation of the executive director of the computer center, Franklin Frias, while the LDP asks the PRD he flexibilice.

The President of the JCE had delivered to parties a proposal to establish a computer management, which includes, inter alia, the appointment of two Assistant Directors, but the opposition PRD does not yield in its claim for the departure of Frías, because he claims that he distrusts the official.
