Rutinel defence wants his freedom

The defence of former Senator Tonty Rutinel, yesterday deposited an appeal for review with fifth Court of the magistrate of the National District with the search requiring pure and simple freedom of his defendant, accused of assaulting a woman with whom he had a two-year-old son.

Junior Ramírez deposited the instance before the registry of the Court, that presides over judge Ileana Perez, to revoke the measure of coercion imposed by him on his defendant, consisting of a financial guarantee of 10 billion pesos, impediment of departure, regular reporting and an order to retreat in favour of Mrs Dayanara Caraballo.

Ramirez said he made the pediment under that Rutinel, who remained 17 days in a cell of the new town courthouse while ordered his release, is innocent of the facts against him and if you agree with the measure of restraint imposed by the judge of permanent attention, would be u000aadmitting its responsibility in fact

On their side, the Prosecutor Yeny Berenice Reynoso placed the defense of Rutinel order to show the version that he was ill-treated by the authorities at the time of being transferred to Najayo.

Reynoso said that it was a normal transfer and that there was any kind of aggression against of the imputed.

In the Court, it was reported that date shall be fixed in the next few hours to hear the appeal in favour of Rutinel, who held a six-year relationship with Dayanara Caraballo, who accuses him of hitting her and causing a wound.
