Salcedo justifies a loan for Paschal royalty

The Mayor of the Distrito Nacional, Roberto Salcedo, justified the loan of RD$ 75 million it needs the cabildo to pay the Paschal royalty to their employees, because it is difficult for them to grant 13 salaries to its employees for the monthly payment to pensioners of the big Santo Domingo and what they disburse as guarantors of the loan of Fenatrano with the Banco de Reservas.

Salcedo said they have monthly el payment of 10 million pesos to cover the loan taken for buses from the Union of drivers, while they spend 7 million payroll for pensioners, situation that said ata them hands.

The mayor offered his statements to deliver to the President of the Council of Aldermen del Cabildo, Winny Terrero, a request that 2012 is declared as a "Year for the respect to women" in the Distrito Nacional.

As part of the actions which the cabildo is in plans to implement in that regard, next year will be u000apainted poles of power lines in gray, pink and black stripes as a sign of mourning for the amount of femicide that have occurred in the country in this year

It also reported that the Mayor is placing a place to build a plaza dedicated to women.

"To record the commitment which has the Mayor's Office of the National District with the theme of gender, which moreover is established in law", said Salcedo.

The past November 10 the institution joined the campaign "Unite" of the Ministry of women, to raise awareness and stop the violence in the country against women.
