Saleh signs plan to leave Yemen

The King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia attended the ceremony in which President Yemeni, in power since 33 years ago, signed this agreement for the transfer of peaceful power.
The King of Saudi Arabia announced the start of "a new page" in the history of Yemen, shaken for ten months by a wave of popular protest. According to stipulated agreement, Saleh relinquished power during an interim period to its Vice-President, Abd Rabo Mansur Hadi, in exchange for immunity for himself and his collaborators.
Representatives of the ruling party and opposition parties also signed another agreement for implementation of the plan, according to which Saleh should relinquish power within a period of three months.
The protesters who encamps u000afor nine months in Sana'a to demand the resignation of Saleh last night rejected the agreement signed in Riyadh and called for new demonstrations Thursday.
For its part, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon announced that Saleh will travel to New York to undergo a treatment physician.
