The Colombian President, Juan Manuel Santos, said yesterday that it was the FARC that killed three policemen and a soldier abducted since more than ten years and stressed that "doubts" expressed in this regard are "courage".

Santos responded to exsenadora Piedad Cordoba, who from Madrid questioned yesterday the official version of the four hostages were killed by the guerrillas that kept them in the middle of an operation military location the last 26 of November.

"How is it possible to get a lady (Córdoba) held positions as a Senator of the Republic to say he still doubts that they have been the FARC the killers of these four heroes of the fatherland", said Santos to intervene in a ceremony of anniversary of the Colombian Air Force (FAC) in Bogotá.

Córdoba, in an interview with the La W Radio station, requested yesterday to clarify the way in which the four hostages were killed, said that the topic is "confusing" and that u000aunsustainable "if it was the guerrillas or the Government, because there is no clarity about it".

The Congressman stated that "doubt" about whether the Colombia revolutionary armed forces (FARC) assassinated Colonel Edgar Yesid Duarte, mayor Elkin Hernandez, the Mayor Alvaro Moreno, all three of the police, and Sergeant of the army, Jose Libyan Martinez.

Santos responded to Cordoba that doubt "produces courage - in the Spanish sense - anger and pity, because it is so inconceivable that it is really difficult to understand".

, However, soon added the ruling: "the Colombian people know very well, know very well where is your heart and knows very well who has to thank".

In Córdoba, which made mediator before the FARC for the release of at least one dozen hostages in a period from 2007 to 2010, "there is no clarity on that," as "one of those who came out alive (Sergeant Luis Alberto Erazo) says" u000athat he hid because clashes (...). "There is a confusion".

"I want to end the war and the conflict in the country, I want to know the truth," he stressed Córdoba.

Also said that "sooner rather than later we have to achieve a process to show us as a civilized society", he pointed out.

The autopsies of the abducted four revealed according to the Forensic Institute that they were shot by the sword and close.

Without admitting that the guerrillas were the perpetrators of the shooting, the FARC said in a recent statement blamed the Government for what they called a "tragic outcome" and stated that they would unilaterally free the four hostages when the camp where they were was attacked by soldiers.

Santos said yesterday the FARC on this release: "not create us such assholes!".
