School milk blamed again for 300 sick children

At least 300 children from the Gregorio Luperon primary school in Rio San Juan showed signs of illness after drinking the milk of the school breakfast, say sources in the area. 
The children were admitted to the Desiderio Hospital around 10:00 am on Tuesday with nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhoea.
The school director Juan Urea, said that he had called the Ministry of Education who will be investigating the details of the case.
The milk in school meals was suspended from mid-March until the 12th of this month after hundreds of children from different schools in the country showed signs of food poisoning.
Milk suppliers were given the all-clear after the conclusion of investigations by the Minister of Education, Melanio Paredes who ordered the resumption of the distribution of milk to schools.
