Seized cocaine hidden in a load of curlers

At the moment, antigrogas Agency has not announced any arrests in relation to the case. It is the third major seizure made in the last few hours in the air terminal by the DNCD, and officers of the specialized body of airport security (CESA).
The two previous charges, quantified aged between 17 and 128 packets, were destined to Puerto Rico and Belgium, respectively.
A report the Agency indicates that the burden of drug that would be sent to New York was placed "in a random way in boxes containing curls into a container stationed in the cargo area". "Has been detected an unusual form used by drug traffickers to circumvent the authorities," the statement said.
Adds that "the" u000a"involved in the case they took the curls, opened them and placed you plastic bags filled with white powder inside and then closed them carefully".
Entry yesterday, afternoon Tuesday, a team of officers, led by Colonel Martín Tapia, of the national police, working within the container where was placed the drug, along with a Deputy Prosecutor of the Santo Domingo province, without offering details about the amount of drugs, or the name of the company and responsible for the shipping towards the outside.
Attempts to transport drugs through the air terminals have been constant in the last few months.
