Senate is a millionaires club

The affidavit of Senators assets reveals that the majority of the Upper House are millionaires. Personal wealth is reported at between RD$9.5million and RD$124milliom for these 23 richest senators out of a total of 32.
Senate president, Reinaldo Pared Perez, declared he had RD$62.8 million, a RD$14.5 million apartment, a RD$16.5 million house and a plot in Jarabacoa worth RD$370,000.
Felix Vasquez, Snchez Ramrez province, has reported assets amounting to almost RD$125 million including 2 homes and large area of land..
Other senators in "the club" include the Senator for Monte Plata, Charlie Mariotti, with RD$68.1 million, Carlos Antonio Castillo, of San Jose de Ocoa , with RD$64 million while Francis Vargas of Puerto Plata has declared RD$15 million.
