SGN inaugurates new natural gas plant

The enterprise solutions in Natural Gas (SGN) yesterday opened a station of natural gas in the station island of Independence Avenue, in the capital.
The opening ceremony was attended by First Lady Margarita Cedeño de Fernández, who appreciated the contributions that makes the SGN in the market company to install the fourth floor of retail sale of natural gas in the country.
On their side, the EVP of SGN, Pedro Juan Lama, revealed that at the end of this month will be opened other five stations that operate in the Avenue Charles de Gaulle, Villa Mella, Las Américas, Santiago and Bonao, which were symbolically inaugurated yesterday.
Lama considered converting 100 thousand vehicles to natural gas system in the next three years should be the priority objective of the Government, indicating that this represents a saving of one thousand 500 million pesos per month in the country.
Said that according to preliminary studies, a cart of the u000apublic transportation saves on average 12 thousand dollars per month using natural gas. On their side, the CEO of SGN, Miguel Guerra, indicated that the new station has four dispendadores with eight hoses to serve equal numbers of cars in three minutes.
