Shippers support END as route development

The President of the Association of shipowners (Arnd), Teddy Heinsen, welcomed the initiative of the national strategy for development (END) as a tool for planning and working in an effort to country, and underlined its support for the objective raised by that Dominican Republic must be in a "Hub regionial" under the location of the country.
He pointed out that the objective involves a regional logistics hub that will contribute to boost the economy much more national.
"In fact, ship owners are working on that basis and we are therefore prepared to take on this challenge as a way of having a range of transport and logistics more competitive," said Heinsen the Arnd President spoke out in these terms to spearhead an act of welcome to the enterprise Cementos Andino Dominicans as a new Member of the shipowners association. "We as shipping industry have always advocated because at" u000a"our country will work together with strategic planning", highlighted. Miguel Chedrauy is the President of Cementos Andean.
