The agreement was signed between Celso Marranzini, Vice President of the CDEEE, and the Engineering & Service Company, represented by Koreans Sang Min Choi, Y. H Jung and W.K. Baik.
According to a statement the plant will produce 150Kilowatts of power and result in a reduction of carbon dioxide emissions by about 23,000 kilograms. The CDEEE says this means they have become a socially responsible business by working toward reducing greenhouse gases that cause global warming.
The installation and construction costs of US$400,000 will be met by private enterprise on the condition that the state contracts to buy the power produced by the plant.
