Spanish Government rejects General pardons prisoners of ETA

Spanish Government is contrary to promote General pardons prisoners of the terrorist organization ETA and only provides for the application to them of measures identified.

El Attorney, Alberto Ruiz-Gallardón, presented today this stance on ETA prisoners during the ceremony of the inauguration of the new delegate of the Government in the Basque country (North Spain).

Gallardón emphasized that penitentiary to this group policy will be based on the "principle of legality", which stipulates that any measure taken note character individually.
