Start operating against the illegal sale of fireworks

The Ministry of Interior and police reported that yesterday began operating against the marketing authorization of fireworks and a campaign by various means of communication to prevent the use of these products.

José Ramón Fadul, Minister of Interior and police, called the parents of families to guide their children on the danger posed by the use of pyrotechnic products and the possibility of the joy of Christmas be transformed at a time when unpleasant.

The official warned that only legally constituted and certified companies are authorized to manipulate Fireworks, recalling that the detonation and sale of these products is prohibited by law 340-09 on Control and regulation of pyrotechnic products.

Legislation also provides the mechanism for obtaining the records of the pyrotechnic companies in industry and commerce, the application of permissions u000aoperation and the rules to carry out demonstrations in public

On the preventive campaign, Fadul said that the Director of the Fireworks, Ana Zayas, Control program and personnel under his command will be distributing information leaflets in schools and at strategic points in the country.

Also asked people denounce the sale and illegal use of fireworks on the telephone line * 788, without any cost.
