Stop at Saif al-Islam in the South of Libya

Saif al-Islam al-Gaddafi has been captured in the South of Libya today by a brigade of militia, military sources from the national transition Council.

Saif, named to succeed the deceased Colonel Muammar al-Gaddafi at the head of the regime that his father created and directed for 42 years, was arrested in the region of Obari, 800 km south of Tripoli, by a brigade of fighters from the city of Zintan, located 150 kilometres south of the capital.

Sources of the CNT have ensured that the second son of Gaddafi, claimed by the International Criminal Court u000afor possible crimes against humanity, is being transferred by helicopter to the city of Zintan and that it will be later taken to Trípoli.

The Minister of Justice and rights human acting, Mohamed to the Alagui, has assured the channel Al Jazeera who will be tried in Libya.

"Saif al-Islam Gaddafi will be presented before a Libyan court and will be tried in a process in accordance with international legal standards," said.

His capture nearly a month after the arrest and the death of his father Mu'ammar al-Gaddafi and his brother Mu'tasim in the city of Sirte the last 20 of October.
