The Government has granted RD$ 33,157,135.1 million in social subsidies granted from 2004 to October of this year through the various programmes that are part of the system of protection Social
Figures were announced during the introduction of the network operating rules for Social supply (RAS), during a ceremony headed by the Vice-President of the Republic and coordinator of the Cabinet of Social policy, Rafael Alburquerque.
During this period has been 61,245,907 transactions 848,767 recipients of the solidarity card.
A few 4,428 shops are attached to the network for Social supply (RAS), including 3,307 filled with, 754 envasadoras, 256 post offices payment of electricity and 111 libraries, commissaries, shops and cafes.
Vice President of the Republic stressed that the regulation was drawn up, consulted and discussed with different organizations in search of u000aachieving that could satisfy and rules govern the process of selection, membership and functioning of the network of establishments that serve those who benefit from the solidarity program and other programs social.
