Superintendent of pensions supports proposal to Ministry of labour

The Superintendent of pensions through Andrés Terrero Administrative Coordinator, appreciates the interest that presents the Ministry of labour on the regularization of the construction sector pension funds.

Pension officer said to be convinced that Francisco Dominguez Brito never try to eliminate law 6-86, is the only establishment or instance to invalidate a law in the country the Conference national.

"For the sector construction is the regulation of pensions and retirement funds, because it guarantees all workers who at the time of his retirement will have its individual capitalization and the right to a pension on the basis of the regulations established by law", said Terrero.

Similarly stated that the Minister of labour has shown credible that their records are for all Dominican workers, regardless of the sector, looking for more benefits to the u000aemployees of the construction sector.

It also announced that Dominguez Brito, as President of the Council of Social Security, will meet next week with the Superintendent of pensions, Joaquín Jerome, with the intention of joining efforts for the adoption of these safety rules that regulate these funds.

The SVS guarantees employees of construction which will have the same benefits as all workers that currently are inserted inside system of Social Security, whose funds amounted to about 153 billion pesos, approximately
