Supreme will explore anti-immigrant law

Arizona decided to resort to the Supreme Court once the Department of Justice secured a federal court to suspend part of the law.
The Court will issue a statement during the current court session, which ends in June 2012, reported a spokesman.
SB 1070 law was promulgated in April 2010 and quickly provoked controversy because it required, for the first time in the history of United States, which the State Police arrested persons suspected of not having roles in rule
The Government of President Barack Obama quickly appealed to a federal court the norm, which inspired other similar laws. Southern, Utah, Georgia Carolina, Indiana and Alabama.
The latter State u000aHe adopted an even harsher law which denies access to water and electricity to those people who could not prove his legal residence. Immigration matters are federal prerogative in United States, but proponents of such laws argue that States have the right to detain illegal immigrants in its territory to then transfer them to the agencies in charge of his deportation.
