Swiss man attacked in his Puerto Plata home

A Swiss national was wounded in the leg and his left side by three attackers who broke into his home.
Andre Stocklin, 60 years old, was in his house in calle Primera, Puerto Plata, when the men burst in and shot him before ripping his gold chain from round his neck.
It is not known if anything else was taken in the attack.

Why are things like this never big news and appear so minor? Was held up last week in Los Maestro adjacent to Puerto Plata by 2 men on a moto with a gun 1cm from my head and I'm going back home thank you now. It's time the good people here did more about the bad people if they want to keep the money we bring here.
