The BA will fund RD$ 7,305 million

The Executive directory of the agricultural Bank announced that the institution be financed in the field this year RD$ 7,305.5 million, on a priority basis in the production of goods foodstuffs.

Collado Abreu Paíno, in his capacity as administrator of the financial institution said that it will seek this year to implement a credit policy to help satisfy part of the demand for financial resources requires the development of the productive area activities rural.

The program of loans for this year envisages to agricultural sub-sector, a total of RD$ 5,276.5 million, i.e. a 72.2% of the total, while in the livestock will be of RD$ 1,366.2.0 million, for an 18.7%.

Explained that, it will also finance the sub-sector of the buses, small and medium-sized rural enterprises with RD$ 470 million to 6.4% and loans for consumption in the field will reach RD$ 192.9 million, for a 2.7%.

reported that the u000aProgramme of loans to the agricultural sub-sector, worth RD$ 5,276.4 million will be directed to production of cereal, legume, oilseed, minor, fruit fruits, floriculture, greenhouse, mechanization and equipment, improving property and marketing agricultural.

Law 4314
Collado Abreu clarified, however, that there is a projection of increasing significantly the financing in the field for short, medium and long terms, and such it is expected that Congress welcomes the reform of the 4314 law proposed by the Executive Branch, to two years still resting in the Senate.
