The Board will leave open election campaign day 15

The plenary session of the Central Electoral Board (JCE) approved the election proclamation that the political campaign for next February 15, at a public event where will convene all political parties and other actors of the process with a view to the general election presidential, vicepresidenciales and overseas members will leave open.

In this way, the plenary welcomed a proposal by its Chairman, Roberto Rosario, according to article 87 of the Act Electoral No. 275-97, which stipulates that election proclamation shall be made at the latest 90 days prior to the vote, which in this case is met on 20 February 2012, should be held. In another aspect, the plenary decided to send to consultation of the political parties draft regulations on mergers, alliances or coalitions; on the deposit before the JCE for the nominations of presidential level, deputies and representatives members of the Dominican community u000aon the outside, and the valid enough votes on resolution and Nulos votes.

In addition, shall consult the parties on the draft regulation on observers technicians to the center of data processing; of regulation for delegates from political parties before the national elections and the resolution on delegates politicians before the school election.
