The candidate and the economic future

Is common these days to hear our presidential candidates talk about all the things that will make our country if they win the elections, although we all know that when they win they do not even 10% of what you promise.

The truth is that promises become smoke spread in space and the people see again lost his illusions. Someone once said that it is better not promise than to promise and not complying.

But the truth is that in addition to the lies of politicians and their great skills to trick, promising things you know will not live, the future and the possibilities of improving can not be based on ghostly, words but on realities, i.e. in possibilities real.

Speaks of improving health, invest in education, having adequate infrastructures... However, all this requires money, a lot of money that we not, the country's economic reality teaches us that we have a quasi huge fiscal deficit, u000aexcessive public debt, an exorbitant spending, decreased production, a disadvantageous balance of trade, a level of literacy and education among the worst in the world and a foreign immigration uncontrolled.

But above must be added that the money of tax revenues not enough even to cover 50% of public expenditure and our debts and investments, which means that we have no money to meet the needs Basic.

Real change
unless there is a change of our economy, starting with true comprehensive fiscal reform encompassing a decrease of unnecessary spending, genuine austerity and decrease in corruption, with a better tax collection derived from a system equitable, fair and progressive, with a spread out among all, tax pressure political promises to stay in the oblivion.

But the problem is not u000athat politicians fail to meet its promises. That we are accustomed.

The real problem is that the patience of the people has limits and those limits come every day when we see that the grandparents of the people living in poverty and then parents and then the children and later grandchildren and as well in an endless chain of families who have never known a healthy life. Worse still, without means or opportunities and hopes that things will improve.

And then we wonder why there is so much violence, drugs and corruption?
