The Darius received 284 injured due to accidents and quarrels

The Dario Contreras hospital did not have a weekend as active as expected, but the cases of accidents and injuries by quarrels were present steadily from Friday until the early hours of yesterday Monday, a holiday on the occasion of the day of Kings.

Those affected include the case of a man from La Romana arrived at noon yesterday with wounds in various parts of the body including the neck and a nearly amputated hand.

The patient came in delicate condition after receiving several wounds result of a scuffle in which was wrapped a machete, by which it was entered, reported doctors in the area of downtown emergency.

From Friday until yesterday morning that facility, specializing in trauma, received in the area of emergency 284 patients, of whom 56 were accidents, eight from firearms wounds and seven gun white.

"The quarrels and robbery are cases that most have been addressed," said Dario Mañón, responsible for public relations of the Centre.

Mañón reported that aided patients as a result of traffic accidents, 38 moved on motorcycles and 18 in automobiles.
