The Dominican Municipal League elects its Secretary general

155 The mayors of the country are meeting today to choose the new Secretary general of the Dominican Municipal League (LMD), during an Assembly to be held at 10: 00 in the morning at the Dominican Fiesta Hotel in the capital. Both the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) and the Christian Social Reformist Party (PRSC) have announced their support to the leader of the party colorao, Johnny Jones.

Addition, the nomination has the approval of the mayors of the Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD). The mayors have been duly summoned by the Minister of Interior and police, José Ramón Fadul, in his capacity as former President ex officio of the LMD.
