The EU will remove aid to countries

The European Union (EU) deleted by 2014 the development aid of 19 emerging countries, of which 11 Latin Americans, including Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela and Colombia, in order to grant more funds to countries more poor.
Is a "development in our relations with emerging countries and aims to help poor countries", said the European Commissioner for development Andris Piebalgs.
19 affected countries
the new European budget (2014-2020) provides for the cessation of aid to 19 countries. The list includes Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Venezuela, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Uruguay, Iran, Thailand, as well as India and Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia and Maldives.
The aid programmes in a country like Brazil will rise to 61 million euros for the period 2007-2013 and Argentina to 65 million euros in same period.
While the "EU will fail to give support to the" u000a"development, will continue to cooperate" with these countries, in the context of issues such as climate, equity and human rights, said Piebalgs.
