Among those killed is the sergeant major of army José Libyan Martínez Estrada, who, with almost 14 years in power of the FARC, was the person who had more years captive in Colombia.
Martinez was kidnapped on December 21, 1997 in bloody take to the military base in Patascoy, in the Department of Nariño, when his wife was pregnant, so it never knew his son.
