The King won 292,552 euros
posted on: Dec 29 2011 12:33 by RDugey. Viewed 20 times.The salary of King Juan Carlos of Spain is of 292,552 euros (382,597 dollars) per year and that of his son and heir, Prince Philip, half of that sum, yesterday the Royal Palace Wednesday.
In its first report on the finances of the family, the Palace said that slightly less than half of that figure were the King's personal salary and the rest was for costs of representation.
The monarch pays 40% of the total amount in taxes.
Cristina princesses, Helena, Queen Sofia and Letizia earn 370,000 euros (483,553 dollars) between the three, and Felipe 146,375 euros (191,297 dollars).
The budget allocated by Parliament to the Royal House was 8.4 million euros (11 million dollars) in 2011. Juan Carlos pledged recently to give transparency to the accounts of the family real.
