The Plaza Güibia have Internet service free for visitors

Viewed 21 times.Persons who visit the recently inaugurated Plaza Güibia, in the Malecon of Santo Domingo, will be able to connect for free to the service of wireless broadband Internet, due to an agreement between the Town Hall of the National District (DNA) and the telephone Claro.
With the incorporation of the square to the free, Internet system are 200 points at the national level with the Wifi network of Claro, including within this number to college campuses, airports, hotels and places trade.
"This initiative, as a result of an agreement signed between the President of Claro, Oscar Peña, and the Mayor (Roberto) Salcedo, is part of the efforts of the company to continuously increase the levels of connectivity and access to technology in different parts of the country", reported the city town hall in a paper in press.
Claro Wifi network access to users in specific public places to u000aHigh speed Internet (5Mbps), from their computers or phones phones.
"These new facilities located in the Malecon of Santo Domingo give Gu¨ibia a modern air and turn it into a Centre for recreation and fun for all Dominicans," said the City Council.
La Plaza Güibia is a modern Center of recreation and entertainment in the capital, which combines commercial area, beach, restaurants, children's playground and a great free gym pool free with exercise equipment, distributed in 13,497 sqm.
The place is suitable for performing arts, plays, sports competitions, exhibitions of fine arts and other activities as it may be aired free.
