The Punta Cana Carnival Celebration in March

The fifth edition of Punta Cana’s colorful carnival celebration will be held on Saturday, March 10 at the Puntacana Village beginning at 4:00 pm.
Delegations from Aruba, Curacao, Haiti and Puerto Rico are expected to participate, as well as the country’s top 20 carnival ensembles.
The carnival has been a major attraction since 2008, and is organized by the Punta Cana Group.
Thousands of international and national visitors participate in the carnival, where the country’s national rhythm – the merengue – will be part of the celebration.

The carnival celebration is co-sponsored by the “Cerveceria Nacional Dominicana,” the country’s most important brewery, Brugal & Co., Tropigas, Grupo Rica, Claro, Banco Popular, Seguros Universal, Ice Alaska and Centro Cuesta Nacional. It is a fun-filled free event for the entire family. Popular meringue bands will provide live music during the event.
