The Syrian Government continues repression

The Suppression of the Syrian regime caused yesterday at least 18 new fatalities, mostly in the central province of Homs, despite an increase in pressure from Arab countries against Damascus that an end to bloodshed.

The President of the Syrian Observatory of human rights (OSDH), Rami Abdul Rahman, reported EfE that only in the Homs province, one of the main opposition, foci killed 14 people.

Abdul Rahman explained that eight of the victims died in the city of Homs, while six others were killed in the nearby towns of the Haula and the Quseir.

The Homs province is goal of a strong offensive since weeks ago forces loyal to the regime of Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad, while fighting between the army and alleged military deserters are triggered each time more often.

For their part, Local coordinating committees opponents reported that among the u000adeceased were two women and a child and they added that other three civilians died in Hama, also in the Centre of the country.
