This Court is mandated by the Constitution proclaimed on January 26, 2010 and is responsible to ensure that Magna Carta maintained his place in the top of the normative pyramid, that rights are respected and that each of the organs of the State exercises its functions with regard to the limits laid down.
Ceremony was held in the Aula Magna of the University autonomous of Santo Domingo (UASD) and counted with the presence of the President of the TC, Milton Ray Guevara, as well as the members of said Court Idelfonso Kings, Katia Miguelina Jimenez, Hermogenes Acosta, just Pedro Castellanos, Víctor Joaquín Castellanos, Leida pineapple, Lino Vásquez Samuel, Rafael Díaz Filpo, Wilson Gomez, Ana Isabel Bonilla, Victor Gomez Berges and Jottin Cury son.
In his speech, u000aGuevara stressed that even CT lacks a space to operate, by required it to the Supreme Court of Justice to give a space until is enabled the second place of the building that houses the price stabilization Institute (Inespre).
Also guaranteed to develop good governance at the head of the CT.
Likewise it emphasized the political will manifested by President Leonel Fernández and the President of the Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD), Miguel Vargas Maldonado, for ensuring that the Constitutional Court was a reality.
Guevara reported that by order of President Fernández will Friday begin the repair of the building where the TC will operate.

Calls SE DECLARE constitutional day
Milton Ray Guevara requested the representative in the exercise of its power of legislative initiative, submit to Congress a draft law to declare 26 January as a day of Justice u000aConstitutional. At the ceremony spoke the rector of the UASD, Mateo Aquino Febrillet, who acknowledged that they chose the Academy to carry out the Act.
Present were the Presidents of other courts, the Senate and of the Chamber of Deputies.
