There are 120 outstanding resources in SCJ

120 Resources of unconstitutionality were still pending to be known by the plenum of the Supreme Court of Justice, of 370 which were guardians during the period 1995-2011, so it now plays meet the judges of the Constitutional Court.

These include the action of unconstitutionality high against the organic law of the Constitutional Court, which limits to 75 years the age limit for judges comprising the Constitutional Court, whose ruling was reserved.

Another pending appeal was submitted by Senator Amable Aristy Castro against the appointment of Felix Vasquez to occupy the second position in the Senate before the National Council of Magistracy.

However, the number of appeals of unconstitutionality which has left the plenum of the Supreme not he predicts a great activity to the new Tribunal constitutional.

The Constitutional Court was established on 26 January last, in order to ensure the u000aSupremacy of the Constitution.
