They accuse Cuba of repressing freedoms

The organization Human Rights Watch (HRW) said yesterday that Cuba remains the only Latin American country that suppresses all dissent, denounced the deterioration of human rights in Venezuela and warned that the Suppression of organized crime increases the violence in Mexico.
In the Chapter American of its global report on human rights in posted in Cairo, 2011 HRW also pointed out that powers obtained by the Ecuador President, Rafael Correa, can infringe freedom of expression and the independence Court.
"Cuba remains the only Latin American country that represses virtually all forms of political dissent", warns the report.
"In 2011 the Government (of President Raúl Castro) continued imposing political conformity through brief arrests, beatings, acts of public repudiation, forced exile and travel restrictions," adds. "In practice, the courts (judicial) are 'subordinated' to" u000a"Executive and legislative powers", warns.
