The highest authorities of the Peravia Province constituted in this city a Provincial inter-institutional Committee of public safety which has established itself as its primary purpose ensuring the safety of the population in any jurisdiction, through the implementation of measures of public health, traffic, noise, protection of children and adolescents, prevention of the microtráfico and consumption of drugs.

Also is committed to take the necessary measures in matters of prevention of domestic violence, maintaining urban hygiene and protection of the environment, control of the slots in unauthorized places and the presence of minors in places of retail sale of alcoholic beverages and billiards.

The Commission is composed of representatives of the governorate of Peravia, the public prosecutor's Office, police, public health, Ministry of environment, Interior and police, Navy, the DNCD and the Mayor's Office of u000aBaní. The first steps were agreed at a joint meeting last Tuesday.
