A missing

Another Spanish boy, housed in a hotel of Rome, had no news since last night of the two friends who were with him.

The wreck occurred at 2140 local time yesterday (2040 GMT) when the ship was headed from the port of Civitavecchia, 70 kilometers north of Rome, to u000aSavona (Northwest of Italy), stage of a Mediterranean Cruise which had scales in Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca (Spain), as well as Palermo and Cagliari (Italy) and Marseille (France).

So far the causes of the incident are unknown although they toyed with the idea of the captain to continue a wrong route, that the ship should not be at the point where he received the impact against the rocks on both sides of the ship, which has been banked at 80 degrees and run aground on a sandbank 30 meters deep.

As they were the survivors of the tragedy, when most of the passengers was at a dinner there was a strong blow and at the same time was light, after which the Commander of the ship called the calm, assuring that it was an electrical failure. "It's been a nightmare, it looked like the Titanic, we thought to die," claimed the Italians Silvana Caddeo, Ignazio Deidda and Mirella Corda.
