They bajan fuels; LPG and Natural Gas are kept frozen

The Ministry of industry and Commerce announced yesterday that for the week of 17 to December 23, 2011, will lower the prices of gasoline the avtur, the kerosene, diesel and fuel oil.

La gasoline Premium cost RD$ 219.30 for a low a Rd $1.00 per gallon, and Regular gasoline will be priced at RD$ 204.10, for a reduction of RD$ 1.00 for gallon.

the Regular diesel will cost RD$ 191.20 to a low of RD$ 2.40 per gallon and the diesel Premium RD$ 197.80 to a low of RD$ 2.40 per gallon. The Avtur will be at RD$ 154.45 for a reduction of RD$ 3.11 for gallon

in turn, the Kerosene cost RD$ 180.00 to a low of RD$ 3.40 per gallon, the Fuel oil cost RD$ 135.57 for a reduction of RD$ 2.00 per gallon; the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cost RD$ 107.60 per gallon while maintaining the same price, as well as Natural Gas (LNG - CNG) that keeps the price of RD$ 25.00 per meter cubic.

The average exchange rate was maintained u000ain RD$ 38.63 according to information from the Central Bank of Dominican Republic.

Explains the Ministry of industry and trade this behaviour of official prices for hydrocarbons reflects the downward trend, albeit with marked volatility in the international prices of the petroleum products because of the weakness of the euro against the dollar and adverse prospects for the global economy.

"Likewise, the reaction of the international market of oil from this week has been influenced by the decision of the Organization of oil exporting countries (OPEC) set at 30 million barrels a day the precious"black gold"production", points out.
