The address Regional of the Cibao Central Police reported the arrest of a man who was wanted for the murder of two people in Santiago in December last.
The detainee was identified as Frankely the Rosario Baez, alias "El Compa," for 22 years, accused of killing Jeffrey Fernando Rodríguez Méndez and another person even without identifying, whose bodies were found on the banks of the rio Yaque del Norte, next to La Otra Banda, on dates 14 sector and 7 December last, respectively.
"Unidentified person was killed for stealing a bicycle and 600 pesos, Rodríguez Méndez participated in whose death", the report says police.
Adds that the detainee admitted having committed the acts, which is why it was imposed one year's imprisonment as a measure of coercion.
