They condemn man infected HIV women

Viewed 31 times.The third collegiate Tribunal of the national district judges, was sentenced to 20 years in prison a man, after being found guilty of injecting blood infected with the HIV AIDS virus to his former partner, Janet Mars Reynoso, teacher of the Republic School of Honduras.
The Court presided by judge Alina Mora of marble, and with Rafael Pacheco, and Christmas Ramona de los Santos, they found guilty Virgil Mejía Aquino, by which ordered that the sentence must be accomplished in the penal de La Victoria.
The Court took the decision to accept the opinion presented by the prosecution, represented by the Deputy fiscal Berta Cabrera, who had requested that the accused was found guilty of the facts is charged and he was consequently sentenced to 20 years in prison. At the hearing, the lawyer Fermina Reynoso, of the Ministry of women, on behalf of the victim's relatives petitioned the Court the u000avariation of the qualification of the file so that the offender be tried by gender-based violence and violation to the AIDS Act.
According to the indictment, the accused, a community worker in the Town Hall of the National District, intercepted the victim when it was on his way to his place of work, grabbing her by the neck and injecting blood infected with AIDS.
