With the increase of violence against women in the country, the National District Prosecutor's Office extended hours of service the unit of care and prevention of violence, that works in the Avenue Rómulo Betancourt, from 8: 00 in the morning to 11: 30 of the night, from Monday to Friday.

Thus informed the Prosecutor, Yeni Berenice Reynoso, who said there will be a staff working from 8 to 4: 30 p.m. and the other from that time until the 11: 30 at night, also from Monday to Friday, while on weekends and holidays will be from 8: 30 in the morning to 3: 30 in the evening.

The Prosecutor clarified the schedule extended to the 11: 30 at night will be for service in plant, but that the Judicial Protection Department, specializing in the subject, still in their 24-hour schedule. He noted that with the establishment of the new schedule is intended to provide a timely and quality service to all victims of gender-based violence, domestic and sexual u000ain the capital.
