They forwarded for the tenth time the case of "Toño firewood"

The second Chamber of the Supreme Court judges yesterday postponed to next Wednesday the knowledge of the request for extradition of Ramon Antonio del Rosario Puente (Toño firewood) and gave his new lawyer, Pedro Duarte Canaan, within 48 hours to prepare his defence.
This is the tenth time that it is forwarded the audience's request for the extradition of Toño firewood, claimed by the Government of the United States to be prosecuted for drug trafficking, whose process will be a year in that Court since the start the first hearing on November 23 last year.
The President of the Court, Hugo Alvarez Valencia, to postpone the knowledge of the audience, expressed to the public defender Alexis Miguel Arias, who had been assigned to take over the defence, which must be present next Wednesday in case that the accused decides to change lawyer again.
The Director of the Department on extradition of the u000aAttorney General of the Republic, Gisela Cueto González, described as "something historic in extradition proceedings that a case has so many forwards", that it will meet next Wednesday a year.
