They freeze prices of petrol, LPG and fuel oil; increase of diesel

However, domestic prices of the Regular diesel and Premium as well as the Avtur and the Kerosene recorded increases, reflecting the increase in contributions in international markets.
For the week of 19 to November 25, 2011 the Premium gasoline maintains its price of RD$ 225.60 per gallon, the Regular gasoline will remain in RD$ 210.00 per gallon and the LPG is maintained in RD$ 108.60 per gallon. Fuel oil maintains its same price of RD$ 140.82 by gallon.
While Regular diesel cost RD$ 195.60 per gallon, for a rise of RD$ 2.70, the Premium diesel will cost RD$ 202.20 per gallon, for a rise of RD$ 2.80 and the Avtur cost RD$ 160.36 per gallon, for a rise of RD$ 2.10
The Kerosene costs RD$ 186.30 per gallon, for a rise of RD$ 2.60, and Natural Gas (LNG - CNG) cost RD$ 24.98 u000aper meter cubic.
The communications Bureau of the MIC, noted as other factors that made bids increases of derivatives in the markets of reference, the information on a slow recovery in the data on employment and the decline in inflation in the United States, that forced nervousness in the markets and encouraged speculation on the prices of crude oil and derivatives that have registered a rebound in the last six weeks of up to 20%.
