The first Lady Margarita Cedeño de Fernández headed yesterday the graduation of 5,746 University students who completed the program of English immersion for competition sponsored by the Ministry of higher education, science and technology (MESCYT), which added 31,882 graduates of this program.

Fernández Cedeño urged the graduates to continue their training in the English language, and to choose a profession to feel love. "You have to love what it does and do what one loves, because that gives happiness, one never feels tired," he added.

Said that as a woman, mother and first lady were very proud of that Dominican youth is taking advantage of the opportunities that are providing, and that the Government works for them because they are the future and the present of society and the country. He urged graduates to see the English language as a means to develop because the study does not finish ever, and put u000aas an example to President Leonel Fernandez continues studying.

Delivering the central speech of the Act, the Minister of higher education, Ligia Amada Melo, said that of the graduates of the VII promotion, 3452 correspond to Santo Domingo and the National District, 1,265 to the northern region, 582 to the East and 503 South. It was announced that in the course which starts in January will be incorporated Peravia and Valverde provinces while the number of centres where the programme is taught will rise from 52 to 59.
