The Observatory youth public policy last night presented an analysis of the social and economic reality of youth Dominican, highlighting the inequalities that affect young people in the country.

The Forum defined education as a fundamental tool to develop institutional strategies to change the country's public policies, and recommends modifying the budget to immediately allocate 4% of the gross domestic product (GDP) to education.

The Observatory, which aims to ensure and propose the correct application of public policy of the Dominican Republic to real human development State, issued a report where concentrated his proposals on issues related to basic and intermediate education, technical and higher education, the employment situation and citizen security.

Luis Abinader, Vice-President of the Dominican Revolutionary Party, who attended the event, was of the view that "young Dominican society and all political parties should participate in this forum, the stage and their plans are excellent".

The Act was also attended by the President of the movement "Toy I Jarto, but I think in my country", Elizabeth Mateo, who called on politicians to put aside the divisions of the u000aYouth to grow the policy.

Stressed that "these create laws so that young people met them but they do not". Also said that the age should not be an obstacles young people achieve their dreams.

Among the recommendations referred to this forum are to submit a draft amendment to the law-General of public expenditure of 2012 for the immediate implementation of 4 per cent to education, reducing the budget of ministries and public institutions, with the exception of the areas of public health, tourism and Interior and police.

Raises, in addition, the modification of the national strategy of development of Dominican Republic (END) Bill, its implementation will start from the application of 4%.

Also recommended plans for teacher training and the development of a "Plan national de construction and maintenance preventive of classrooms and schools school", to cover the u000ashortages at the national level and create the necessary conditions so that they apply the thousand hours of classes.
