They prohibit circular to heavy goods vehicles

The Ministry of public works, through the General Directorate of Tránsito terrestrial yesterday ordered the ban on the transit of heavy goods vehicles in all avenues of the national territory during Christmas Eve and new year's parties.

Ban on the transit of heavy goods vehicles will be from Friday, December 23 at 12: 00 noon until Monday 26 at 6: 00 in the morning.

While for the holidays of the year, the ban will be from December 30 Friday noon until Monday 2 January 2012 to 6: 00 a.m..

The Minister of public works: Víctor Díaz Rua, explained that the measure is covered in the Law 241 on passage of motor vehicles and looking to prevent traffic accidents who circulate through different channels of the country.

The provision excludes vehicles transporting fuel and edible perishable.

Díaz Rua said that u000aTransit ground will be the authorized institution for the issuance of permits for vehicles that merit.
