The Minister of higher education, Ligia Amada Melo, announced mass of the French programme dip to ensure that the young Dominicans interested in carrying out postgraduate studies at universities in France.

The official made the announcement after receiving the visit of the Ambassador of France in the country, at the headquarters of the Ministry of higher education Madam Blandine Kreiss.
Currently 83 young Dominicans receive teaching in the Alliance Française of Santo Domingo and Santiago in collaboration with French Campus intensive courses for professionals and students University of term who plan to pursue a postgraduate degree in France.
Recalled that since 2004 higher education develops the English immersion for competitiveness program, "with highly positive achievements, more than 30,000 young people have managed to speak and write English well, and that is what" u000a"we intend with the teaching of French, those interested in learning this language fluent in this language fluently and can extend its possibilities of insertion in the working market", stated by the owner of the MESCyT.
These courses are held for a period of nine months with four hours a day. The cost of these is covered entirely by the Government.
