They reward universities

The IAPA Press (SIP) awarded to eight universities of Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru and Dominican Republic, for the excellence of their research related to the fight against the impunity surrounding crimes against journalists in the hemisphere West.
The University works were required by the SIP to 22 high houses of study Latin America as part of its project against impunity, sponsored since 1995 the Foundation the Foundation John S. and James l. Knight.
Universities had to investigate for a semester in their respective countries and make recommendations on reforms in public policies to combat impunity.
